Well! I gave birth to our daughter on February 13th and it took me three months to recover, get the hang of our new life, and return to the sketchbook.

I'm seeing if I can draw/sketch something almost every day this year.

Here's what came from the first week: my husband's angry stomach, a pregnancy/birth reference, an elf (because of Skyrim), and Illustration Friday theme "edge."

camp pikaland work

(I'm post-dating this since it happened in 2012.)
I had the opportunity to take an online illustration course from Camp Pikaland spring of 2012. We had six weeks of assignments, and we had a forum where we posted our progress and final images. I found the diversity of classmates (from around the world) and feedback very helpful and inspiring.
